Back To Vidyya Eye Disease Simulations

A Look Through The Patient's Eyes

A patient experiencing an alteration in vision may not be able to communicate to his practitioner exactly what is wrong with his vision. Further, health practitioners may not be familiar with exactly which eye condition a patient suffers from by a given description. For that reason, the National Eye Institute of the National Institutes of Health presents this set of eye disease simulations. The photos can help patients by allowing them to identify just which of the vision disorders they are experiencing and can assist practitioners in the art of diagnosis.
