From The National Academy Of Sciences

The latest Dietary Reference Intake recommendations for several antioxidants by the National Academy of Sciences:

Vitamin C
  • Old recommendation: 60 milligrams for men and women
  • New recommendation: 90 milligrams for men and 75 milligrams for women
Vitamin E
  • Old recommendation: 10 milligrams for men and 8 milligrams for women
  • New recommendation: 15 milligrams for men and women
Selenium
  • Old recommendation: 70 milligrams for men and 55 milligrams for women
  • New recommendation: 55 milligrams for men and women
