Newsletter Summary For 19-August-2000:

A focus on the health of children is the subject of today's Vidyya. In July, the US government released a report that had some good things to say about the status of the nation's children. Although some of the indicators show that things are improving, many children in the country still go to bed hungry, are abused or mistreated or lack fundamental health care.
