  • American Society of Anesthesiologists - Clinical Practice Guidelines

       The ASA's Practice guidelines are systematically developed recommendations for patient care that describe a basic management strategy or a range of basic management strategies. Guideline recommendations are supported by analysis of the current literature and by a synthesis of expert opinion, open forum commentary, clinical feasibility data and consensus surveys.

       Bandolier is produced monthly in Oxford for the NHS R∓mp;mp;mp;mp;D Directorate. It contains bullet points (hence Bandolier) of evidence-based medicine. This is a subscription site, though some information is accessible free of charge.


  • British Columbia - Guidelines And Protocols Web Pages

       The College of Physicians and Surgeons produced these guidelines. The College Guideline Committee published seven guidelines (Management of Cataracts, Management of Otitis Media, PSA Guidelines, Thrombolysis Guidelines, Breast Screening Mammography, X-ray for Acute Knee Injury and Management of Menorrhagia). The College now focuses on guidelines for non-clinical situations such as alternative therapy, multi-disciplinary practice, and conflict of interest.

  • National Guideline Clearinghouse (NGC)

       The NGC is a public resource for evidence-based clinical practice guidelines. NGC is sponsored by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (formerly the Agency for Health Care Policy and Research) in partnership with the American Medical Association and the American Association of Health Plans
