Diagnostic, Clinical Picture For The Use Of Health Professionals


The following photograph is in the public domain as a service to health professionals. The patient below is infected with Trichinella. The clinical picture was provided by Emory University's Dr. Thomas F. Sellers.

The eyes are frequently an important clue in diagnosis. This patient presented to a practitioner with periorbital swelling, eye irritation, muscle pain, diarrhea, and 28% eosinophils.
