Medico-Legal Resource Watch The Armed Forces Institute of Pathology (AFIP) may not be the first place one would look when trying to find medico-legal information. This unlikely department within the United States Department of Defense publishes two journals, Legal Medicine and The Journal of Nursing Risk Management, which are excellent resources for physicians, nurses and jurists with legal questions.
