(22 November 2009: VIDYYA MEDICAL NEWS SERVICE) -- Special care is available to make patients more comfortable during end-stage chronic disease. Itís called palliative care. Patients receive palliative care at the same time that they receive treatments for their illnesses. Its primary purpose is to relieve the pain and other symptoms and improve quality of life.
